AAT Kings brings to you the breathtaking Uluru with an indigenous touch

The Uluru

The Uluru

The Uluru is one of the few iconic sites in Australia that experiences more footfall than any other sites in the country. If you always dreamed of coming to the Red Centre to watch a breathtaking sunrise or experience the Australian outback in an authentic manner, then AAT Kings have just the right thing for you. AAT Kings is offering a great package tour of the Uluru as well as a guided outback tour of the place with a special indigenous touch as part of its 2012/13 Uluru day tours programme.

This tour will cover all of the major sights of the Uluru, including the Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), the Kings Canyon and of course the Uluru. The Rising Sun tour is designed to touch not only major natural landmarks but also be a way to experience how the Anangu people of this region live their lives. This half day tour will find yourself being led by an indigenous guide who knows the place and the history that surrounds this area. He will teach you traditional bush skills, share with you the legendary tales of his tribe and show you the sacred sights around this area as you walk around the Uluru.

The journey starts with a breathtaking Uluru sunrise followed by a sumptuous breakfast enjoyed while this majestic natural beauty beckons at the background.

Participants to this tour will have to pay $155 per person ($78 per child) and an extra $25 towards National Park entry fee. The Rising Sun tour departs every single day just about an hour before sunrise and returns at mid-day to the Ayers Rock resort after an enthralling journey.

AAT Kings is the only tour company that has been given the permission to hold a special barbeque dinner for its guests inside the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, at the foothills of the Uluru. Guests participating in the full day tour can enjoy this complimentary dinner at this ethereal surrounding, enjoying a fabulous sunset while sipping champagne and delving in an authentic Australian barbeque.

Visitors can even save a hefty 20% if they decide to buy two tours with AAT Kings Sightseeing passes. Plus those looking to experience some of the other destinations outside of the Yulara, AAT Kings can also arrange transfers to and from Kings Canyon and Alice Springs.
