At the recently concluded Queensland Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) Awards the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) made a mini sweep winning no less than three of the awards. A number of parameters are considered for the MEA awards including excellence, best practices and professionalism in the highly competitive meetings industry. This is a showcase event for Queensland’s long standing excellence in the meetings and other business events segment.

BCEC’s long standing performance record has been bolstered with these recent awards that have recognized them the best in class for ‘Banqueting & Catering’, ‘In-house AV Services’ and Corporate Social Responsibility (for more than 30 employees). All these are considered to be extremely important parameters for success in this fiercely competitive industry.
