Accommodation at APT’s Wilderness Lodge Hawk Dreaming

APT’s luxury tented lodge, Hawk Dreaming, offering guests an unique wilderness experience has recently reopened following the long lull of the wet season. Located at the landmark Cannon Hill near Ubirr, Hawk Dreaming is situated right at the heart of the Kakadu National Park. APT enjoys a unique partnership with the custodians of the national park, which translates into an unique experience for the guests staying at the Hawk Dreaming Lodge to spend some days right within the heart of the Kakadu National Park. There is more than one advantage of all that. Apart from the occasional encounter with a wild visitor, the guests also get to see a huge number of Aboriginal Rock Art sites which are located within a short distance from the lodge.

The accommodation at the lodge is mostly made up of natural materials. All the 12 tents are luxuriously decorated and have private ensuites and decks. Every tent has a dedicated lodge host who takes care of the needs of the guests. The Al fresco dining room is the venue for the three course meals that are served every day of the stay. The evenings are a wonderful time with camp fires and an endearing moment alone with nature.

During the stay guests are treated with daily cruises of the East Alligator River, visits to the priceless ancient aboriginal rock art sites along with ample opportunities to enjoy the natural flora and fauna of the region. If you’re interested in a small getaway at the Hawk Dreaming Lodge then per night cost is only $265 per person including stay, breakfast and dinner on a twin sharing basis.
