In yet another major boost for the tourism sector of Sydney, Minister for Tourism and Major Events, George Souris announced the commencement of a major garden show in the city which is to happen recurrently for the next three years. The show will attract horticulturists and lovers of gardening to the Australian shores.

Named the Australian Garden Show Sydney, this annual gardening extravaganza will debut this year in September at the beautiful setting of the Centennial Park. The first edition of the Australian Garden Show Sydney will announce the commencement of the season, so as to say, with 29 flower and garden shows scheduled all around NSW every year.

Estimated to contribute nearly $12 million to NSW’s economy over the next 3 years, the Australian Garden Show Sydney is expected to become a major event for both national and international visitors looking for a great horticultural and gardening experience. To be held from 5th to 8th of September the event will showcase some of the best gardening, flower and landscaping ideas in NSW.

NSW’s amazing diversity of flowers, gardening and landscaping festivals will certainly get a lot of eyeballs as no less than 29 such events including those from the Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains, the Southern Highlands, and the South Coast will be showcased.
