Amidst a strong performance from their Asian and Sub-continental itineraries, Australia’s Asia travel specialist, Travel Indochina has released a number of new itineraries in its ‘2013-14 India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives’ brochure.

According to Managing Director Paul Hole of Travel Indochina, there has been a persistent demand for good itineraries from India by Australian tourists looking to travel to Asia and the Sub-continent. In fact, there has been a 30% increase YoY on Small Group Journeys and over 40% growth in FIT during the same period.

While growth in demand for Indian itineraries has been a matter of satisfaction for the team, there has also been a surge in the demand for Sri Lanka as an international destination for Australian tourists. Sri Lanka, in fact, faired much better in as much as YoY figures suggest. Small Group Journey sales have jumped five times while FIT figures have doubled in what has been a great year for Sri Lankan itineraries as well.

Both India and Sri Lanka are pulling a lot of attention; both being destinations offering such diverse experiences which are a feast for the senses. Mr. Hole suggested that their expert assistance, based on vast local experience, to create tailor-made itineraries and the Small Group Journeys section are increasingly becoming popular with Australian travelers.

The new brochure, some 52 pages long, include Travel Indochina’s first ever Kashmir itinerary along with some newly enhanced 7-15 day Sri Lankan itineraries, a number of new hotels and expanded image formats for hotels, to aid in accommodation selection.
