Talk about comfort. Qantas introduced its new business class suite which comes equipped with their award-winning sky bed.
The sleeper which converts into seating comes ready with a wide range of seat adjustments, massage options and extensive storage. The Marc Newson inspired creation will be available on Qantas’ business-domestic and international A330 airbuses by next year.
Alan Joyce, Qantas Group CEO believes the improvements will allow the airline to compete with the big boys, especially on vital Asian routes and, domestically.
“We’ve created a product that has enough space to dine while working, or if you want to rest, to leave the seat in a recline position from takeoff to landing,” Mr. Joyce said.
In addition to it’s comfy flat bed, the suite boasts an advanced entertainment system, featuring a personal touch screen up to 12.1 inches, noise-cancelling headsets and on-demand control.
Personal telephones are also available in every seat, along with reply text messaging, laptop power outlets and USB connectivity.
Qantas’ economy class has also received a face-lift, with upgrades to its seating within 20 of its planes and, modern updates to its seats for 10 international A330-300s fleets.
