A 2 year old girl has been rushed to hospital after nearly drowning at Sydney’s newest water attraction, Wet’n’Wild Sydney.

The 2 year old girl became separated from her parents in a wave pool when a large wave took her down. The young girl took on a large amount of water before her parents removed her from the pool.

An ambulance was called by Wet’n’Wild Sydney as a precaution, although the girl was conscious during and after the ordeal.

The 2 year old girl was taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital for observation, but was cleared shortly after.

Wet’n’Wild Sydney is located in Prospect and is Sydney’s latest water theme park on a large scale. With over 40 slides and attractions, Wet’n’Wild Sydney has proved to be a hit with locals and tourists looking to cool off in summer.
