This story will probably be one of the wackiest yet fantastic stories closing out 2013.

Pornkamol Mongkolsermsak, 48, was detected at the U-S|Mexico border after Custom and Border Patrol agents searched a vehicle and saw, what appeared to be a female hiding inside of a suitcase.

On December 30th, Ms. Mongkolsermsak, who is of Thai lineage and from Bangkok, had already been deported from the U-S, attempted to re-enter the country with the help of an unidentified 58-year old male who was driving the car and had stuffed her among clothes in a suitcase.

Once the stowaway was discovered, Border Patrol moved quickly to remove the woman from the suitcase and arrest her for re-entry after deportation.

This type of incident wasn’t the first of its kind.  In 2012, an Egyptian couple was caught attempting to smuggle their baby through Customs at the Sharjah International Airport in the UAE.

Apparently, the couple did not have the proper documents for their child to enter the UAE so they were held by Customs.  However, the couple took matters into their own hands, by placing the baby underneath clothes in their suitcase.  The child was discovered only after an x-ray machine which checks the contents of luggage, revealed a human presence.
