Michael Shainblum, a photographer, wondered what one of the most famous cities in the world, San Francisco, would look like through his camera.
Dangling from a helicopter, Michael was able to capture some of the most amazing and dramatic images of the biggest tourist attraction in Northern California.
Mr. Shainblum, 23, who snapped these incredible images of the Golden Gate Bridge, risked his life by hanging out of a helicopter, with one hand holding on for dear life and the other grasping his camera to get the perfect shots.
Michael has been perfecting his craft the last few years by featuring specific body parts in photos. These shots feature his legs which truly allow you to measure the extreme heights the photos were taken from.
Mr. Shainblum was able to capture stunning San Francisco landmarks and streets with the lights of the city as his backdrop.
From the San Francisco Giants baseball stadium to the infamous 101 freeway, Michael defined San Francisco from the heavens above.
