Sage Hotel Adelaide becomes accommodation sponsor of Santos Women’s Tour

Santos Women’s Tour gets a new sponsor! Sage Hotel Adelaide happily welcomes the teams arriving Adelaide for participating in the Santos Tour Down Under 2016. The 4-star hotel will provide accommodation to all the participating women cyclists.

Santos Tour Down Under returns for the second year as a worldwide-acknowledged event as the UCI, the world’s governing body, has already give it international status. While still a part of the Cycling Australia’s Subaru National Road Series (NRS), the highly expected sporting event in the city’s sporting calendar is now a UCI 2.2 class event.

The Area General Manager of the SilverNeedle Hospitality Group, Roger Law, sounded delightful in having the chance of welcoming teams taking part in this international cycling event. He assured that the amenities provided to the cyclists would be of high-standards, matching to the level of such an important sporting event.

According to a press release from SilverNeedle Hospitality, the cyclists will be entertained with free wi-fi, mini-bars, and a good sleep at night with their special DreamWeave Sleep System beds. Law said that getting involved into such an international event would be helpful in underlining Adelaide’s countryside with its natural beauty and wide-open roads to the outer world. He also added, “Cycling holidays is growing in popularity with healthy well-being lifestyles, Adelaide too will be up there with some of the best cycling routes in long-distance cycles.”

It is not something new for the Sage Hotel Adelaide to be involved in a sporting event. They are already the official partner of the Adelaide 36’ers – the local basketball team – for the current NBL season.
