The names of the exclusive hosts for the first two journeys organised by a collaboration of the Gourmet Traveller and Abercrombie & Kent, the leading luxury travel business in the world.
Helen Anderson, the Travel Editor of Gourmet Traveller, will join a part of the India tour. Ms Anderson is one of the most experienced travel writers and editors in Australia. The India tour is likely to be a revisiting-to-memory-lane for her because a trip to Mumbai in the late ’80s was the journey that sparked her lifetime of travel. It was also her first journey to a foreign country.
While commenting on the upcoming tour, Ms Anderson reminisced about her first overseas adventure and expressed it as a catalyst that triggered her lifelong love affair with the subcontinent. She also described India as a nation that mostly captures the essences of the whole universe.

After the tour in India, the Morocco tour will be organised in September where a portion of it will be hosted by Gourmet Traveller Deputy Editor, Pat Nourse, who has been a part of the magazine’s editorial panel since 2004. Being one of the leading food writers in the country, Nourse is not new to the dazzling charm and excellent cuisine of Morocco. He called the Moroccan food outright seductive and the country a place where rich culture marries wildness and luxury.
The trip to India will be held between September 9 and September 23 while the Morocco trip will take place from September 25 to October 7. The participating fees per person will be $10,890 and $10,595, respectively.
