Pan Pacific Hotels Group to launch upscale hotel in Hanoi

Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) is going to extend its business to Hanoi in Vietnam. The hotel group will set its foot to the capital city by inaugurating Pan Pacific Hanoi in the capital city in the fourth quarter of this year.

PPHG acquired this property at a prime location by the West Lake through a joint venture with Hanoi Construction Corporation in 2001. The company has been using the place for operating a 5-star hotel Sofitel Plaza Hanoi, which is a city skyline icon. Currently, the luxe, high-rise hotel is undergoing renovation and will be rebranded as Pan Pacific Hanoi after being refurbished in several areas – meeting space, lobby bar, lobby, and all-day dining restaurant.

The Pac Pacific Hanoi, which is just minutes away from the historic Old Quarter, will be opened from October 1, 2016, with 273 guestrooms and 56 serviced suites. It also gives easy access to the business district because of being centrally located in the capital city.

Like all other PPHG hotels and resorts, Pan Pacific Hanoi will display the unique fusion of Pacific Rim’s culture and heritage. Overlooking the charming view of the Red River and the West Lake, it will also deliver an ambience promised by the brand – ‘Your refreshing Pacific experience’.

Pan Pacific Hotels Group Chief Executive Officer, Bernold Schroeder, expressed his excitement over the launching of the Pan Pacific brand into an Asia-Pacific region, where the company is already looking for ways to make a strong presence. In addition, he considered Hanoi as the perfect destination for extending their business because the city’s personalised service and attention to detail perfectly matches to the principles of the brand.

Along with Pan Pacific Hanoi, PPHG owns another property in Vietnam. The 4-star hotel PARKROYAL Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City is an award-winning establishment. They also have two other 4-star hotels – PARKROYAL Nay Pyi Taw and PARKROYAL Yangon – in the Indochina region. Plus, the Group is going to launch Pan Pacific Yangon in 2017, which will be another valuable addition to their line of luxury and chic hotels, resorts and serviced suites in the region
