InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort has already gained popularity for providing its guests with exceptional wine and dining experiences. The upscale Hope Island resort has stepped this game up by making a partnership with Amadio Wines, the winemaking family heavyweights.
The result of the partnership will be a Resort-first wine dinner on Saturday, August 13, hosted by Danniel Amadio, the third generation of Amadio winemakers. The dinner event will be held at The Fireplace, the signature restaurant of the Sanctuary Cove Resort.
The exclusive wine dinner will be a part of the Sanctuary Cove Winter Wine fair going to be held in The Marina Village from Friday, August 12, to Sunday, August 14. Only limited number guests are allowed at the dinner with tickets priced at $99.00 per person.

At the dinner event, Allan Spadijer – QLD Amadio State Manager, David Stevens-Castro – the Resort sommelier, and Danniel Amadio – Amadio CEO and winemaker, will be present to guide the guests through a wine journey. Any wine lover will be delighted to know that guests will get to see the highly acclaimed Amadio 2007 Reserve Merlot, which is also one of the best Merlots in Australia, and Winestate Magazine’s ‘Best of the Best’, the Amadio NV Grande Reserve Sparkling Brut.
After the complimentary wine tasting, the guests will be entertained with a three-course menu prepared exclusively by Andreas Imre, the recently appointed Executive Chef of the Resort.
Mr Amadio expressed his happiness in sealing a partnership with InterContinental. According to him, the collaboration would help entertaining their guests with the authentic Amadio family legacy, which are first-class produce and an exceptional wine line, in the unique setting of the Resort.
