Korea to host test events for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games


People who have planned to visit Korea in the upcoming 2016/17 winter season are going to have a great time. The country will allow the visitors to enjoy a preview of the events and venues of the upcoming 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.

Many Aussies love to do snowboarding and skiing, and they will have a great chance to enjoy their favourite games during the winter season in Korea. The country has planned to host 29 test events in different venues from November 2016 to March 2017 to check if all the venues are ready for the big tournament. The test events will be taken place across 21 venues, and the organisers will offer free tickets to the spectators.

Aussies might be interested in watching the FIS Snowboard World Cup (from 23 to 26 November 2016); the FIS Snowboard World Cup (from 12 to 19 February 2017); the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup (from 10 to 18 February 2017); the ISU World Cup Short Track Speed Skating (from 16 to 18 December 2016); and the IPC Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals (from 11 to 18 March 2017).

You have to join at the official website Hello Pyeongchang as an online member and apply for free of paid tickets to watch the test events. You will get your free or paid tickets on arrival at venues upon confirmation.
