The Commons Street Feast to launch inaugural season in Canberra


The Aussie food lovers should be delighted to know that Canberra is going to host a new food festival! The Common Street Feast is coming to the capital city for its inaugural season!

The festival will satisfy the guilty food pleasure of the guests with delicious street food and fun from 9-18 December. More than 20 of Australia’s premier food trucks, craft brewers, artisan chefs, and others will join the 10-day summer celebration in Commonwealth Park.

The food vans will serve food from different cuisines. So, it’s your best chance to taste popular South American, European, American, and Asian street foods.

Award-winning Gelato Messina will entertain everyone with their famous gelato cakes, ice cream with more than 40 unique gelato flavours, and create edible art with their international Soup Kitchen. The festival favourite Bao Stop swill spoil everyone with their infamous trifecta bao, Pecking duck fries, and an exclusive cocktail bar.

Satisfy your burger craving at the cult-favourite Mary’s while pizza lovers can gather around Happy as Larry to relish the freshly made Napoli wood fired pizza. Looking for something local? Well, the cheese platters and locally cured meat from Pialligo Estate will keep your tummy happy!

The festival will serve the guests the nation’s finest brews to keep their thirst in check. The Craft Beer Bar will serve made-to-order drinks along with selections from Pact Beer Co, Capital Brewing Co, Batlow Cider, and Little Creatures. The Melbourne Martini will provide palatal pleasure with an Espresso Martini Bar.

Guests who are looking to enjoy special service can hire their own butlers. Your butler can reserve you a table, serve the ordered food, and even curate a menu if you are too confused by all the choices.
