The ‘Amazing Thailand Roadshow’ will be held this year between May 8 and 15 in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. Like every year, the Sydney office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will organise the event.
The global travel trends for 2017 indicate that travellers are now more interested in enjoying authentic local immersive experiences and personal enrichment. So, the TAT Oceania has also modified their marketing strategy for the New Year in accordance with the global trends.
The TAT will promote sustainable and creative tourism through the Unique Thai Local Experiences featuring local culinary experiences, wellness retreats, agro-tourism, and eco-tourism so that the visitors can treat themselves with precious holiday experiences.

TAT already has three training modules for the travel agents but they have added another five for promoting the new concepts of creative tourism. They will soon announce incentives for travel operators willing to complete the new modules.
The Mazing Thailand Roadshow is an event for professionals. Travel operators from Australia and New Zealand join this annual event to update their knowledge on the tourism of Thailand and to network with other professionals. More than 50 hotel and tourism operators from different parts of Thailand will also participate the events.

This year the events will take place in Auckland’s Sky City Auckland Convention Centre on May 8, Brisbane’s Hilton Brisbane on May 10, Melbourne’s Cargo Hall & Showtime South Wharf on May 11, and Sydney’s Dolton House on May 15.
Operators who are interested in taking the online courses, can visit Thailand Training. Send an email to TAT if you are interested joining the events or want to know more information about them. The organisation will send the professionals invitations in March and the last date of RSVP is April 15.
