The show’s production house has collaborated with Qantas, CBS, and Network TEN for these special episodes. Qantas will provide round-trip flights for the show’s cast and crew to travel to and within Australia.
Olivia Wirth, the Executive Band, Marketing, Corporate Affairs of Qantas Group, said that the show would promote Australia to its huge fanbase across the world, which is exactly what they want as a part of their investment in the country’s tourism marketing.
Previously, Qantas made successful partnerships with other U.S.-based TV shows such as Modern Family, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Ms Wirth said that they knew from their previous experiences that there’s always a surge in inquiry and visitor number after these shows go to air. In fact, the carrier experienced a 22% booking spike after their collaboration with The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
