Expedition Cruise Specialists adds a new expedition to Africa


If you have the wish to explore the rivers of West Africa through cruising, the Expedition Cruise Specialists has just launched a new itinerary to that route for you!

The Queensland-based cruise agency has added a Rivers of West Africa trip to their world’s best expedition and adventure cruises portfolio. Harmony G, a 42-passenger yacht-like cruise will operate the 8-day voyage, which will start from the capital of Senegal, Dakar, to a number of destinations in Gambia including its wildlife-rich, 1,000km Gambia River. The cruise will also take the travellers to three UNESCO sites in these countries.

The expedition will launch in April 2018. The prices will be started from €1,550 per head in a Category C cabin.

The Expedition Cruise Specialists’ General Manager, Andrew Castles, expressed his excitement over the launch of the new itinerary. He said that despite experiencing growing demands for expeditions in places like the Kimberley Coast in Australia and the Polar Regions in the recent years, they were happy to add an African tour. Mr Castles added that their customers regular ask about expeditions to Africa. So, the new journey would give them more options.
