Get Global, the Australian outbound MICE segment, received support from a host of international airline companies. They have confirmed their turnout at the first MICE trade event, Get Global, going to be held in Sydney in July.

Get Global creates a platform for international suppliers to interact and build relationships with any Australia-based international group business including travel companies, incentive houses, PCOs, and corporate meeting planners.

Eight of the twelve carriers that have made the confirmation are Qantas Airways, Air New Zealand, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Garuda Indonesia, South African Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Qatar Airways. These companies make the largest share of the airline representatives of any Australia-based MICE trade event.

Co-founder and Director of Get Global, Gary Bender, said that their market research revealed that the attendees expect the event to deliver innovative business focuses. He was confident that Get Global could be the platform for the companies to yield positive results for their business.

Another Co-founder and Director of Get Global, Donna Kessler, described the initiative as an open platform where participants get the chance to do real networking and business. Their focus is on the quality rather than quantity so that buyers and sellers get to have conversations with real decision makers.

The Sales Manager of Garuda Indonesia and NSW/ACT & New Zealand, Roger Byrne, described Get Global as something different than other LICE they had attended around the world. He hoped that the event would introduce them with people making decisions for large organisations.

The registration for the buyers is still open. Visit Get Global if you want to grab a seat at the prestigious outbound trade event.
