The Summer DineL.A. kicks off this July for 15 days between July 14 and 28. The biannual food event delivers a great opportunity for the food lovers to relish the delicious menus from famous restaurants of Los Angeles.
Over 300 L.A. restaurants take part in the festival to put the focus on the city’s rich, culinary diversity. Moreover, this season’s theme ‘Summer Roadtrip’ encourages the guests to explore that diverse variety by eating their way across the city.
Gary Baseman, Emmy Award winner and the creator of Teacher’s Pet, has devised a map that shows the city’s iconic restaurants and landmarks featured in the dineL.A. Roadtrip Guide. You can print the guide from here or collect a copy from any of the visitor information centres across the city. It will immensely help because it shows the participant restaurants categorized by neighbourhoods.

Polly Peak, one of the event organisers, said that the festival had supported and promoted the culinary diversity of the city through all these years. According to her, the diverse food items prepared by celebrated chefs of the popular restaurants really encourage the visitors to wander around the city and savour the eclectic flavours.
People who are on a budget can take advantage of the specially-priced lunch menus at $15, $20, and $25 while the dinner menus will be available at $29, $39, and $49. You can slash $5 from a bill of $25 or more by using an American Express card!
