Airbnb, world’s leading hospitality service and an online marketplace, has made a partnership with the corporate division of the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG). The goal of this collaboration is to give the corporate customers more choices during their travel for business purposes.
FCTG corporate, which consists of five corporate travel brands, operates in Australia and New Zealand. It provides different organisations across these two countries various services for travel management. The new alliance means that the brands operating under the FCTG will now have access to an extensive inventory of accommodation options for their customers.

The FCTG companies will have access to Airbnb for Business, a search tool specially designed for business travellers so that they can filter those dwelling places that are Business Travel Ready. FCTG’s customers will have access to over three million listings throughout the world that have everything them need including 24/7 check-in, Wi-Fi, responsive hosts, a comfortable workspace, premium support, and more.
The corporate brands that will have access to that third party tool are Stage and Screen, Campus Travel, Cievents, Corporate Traveller, and FCM Travel Solutions. The listings will be unveiled in the websites of Campus Travel and Stage and Screen first, and then will be introduced on the websites of Corporate Traveller and FCM Travel Solutions. The employees of these companies, who will take a trip through Airbnb, will be able to see the trip details, send messages to the host, and bring changes to the reservation.

Corporate Travel’s Executive General Manager, Andrew Flannery, said that the agreement would further enhance their travel offering at the corporate level. Airbnb’s Global Director of Business Travel, David Holyoke, expressed his excitement over the opportunity to work with FCTG’s corporate travel brands. He hoped that the new services would help the business travellers from New Zealand and Australia to feel at home while travelling.
Airbnb has entertained over 180 million guests worldwide since its launching in 2008. Nearly 10% of the customers on this platform are business travellers.
