Captain Cook Cruises will launch its new ICC Sydney Ferry service from August 9, 2017. To celebrate the occasion, the cruise operator announced a special offer for anyone to buy a $5 pass for 10 trips. The sale will be available until August 16, 2017, or until sold out. The validity of the special tickets will last for 14 days from the date of purchase.
The new ferry service will be running every day between 6:35am and 7:50pm. The ships’ area of operation will include Convention Wharf in ICC Sydney, Harbour Master Steps in Circular Quay, and King Street Wharf No.1 in Barangaroo. They will leave the harbour at every 30 minutes.
The passengers will use it through ICC Delegate eTravelPass instead of buying tickets. Such a ticketless option is hassle-free as you can purchase it through the Captain Cook Cruises app. The options for a two-, three-, and five-day pass are available currently, and purchasing any of the last two passes offers either a Hop on Hop Off-Harbour Explorer cruise or a free Harbour Story.
Captain Cook Cruises’ Head of Sales and Marketing, Richard Doyle, thought that the new service would be a blessing to the busy conference delegate because of the eTravelPass and a quick ferry service departing at every half an hour. It will be time-saving because they won’t need to collect tickets anymore before the departure.
The two-, three-, and five-day passes are priced at $35, $59, and $85 per head, respectively, and provide up to 10, 15, and 25 trips, respectively. A special $5 pass for 10 trips is currently available for sale.
