Hot air balloons to take over the skies of Avon Valley this September!

The National Ballooning Championship is going to take place from September 2 to 9. Get ready to watch the display of 30 hot air balloons in the skies Northam and the Avon Valley.

Western Australia hosts an array of festivals throughout the year. This one is especially for the hot air balloon pilots who test their skills at different altitudes and winds. Pilots from everywhere – local, interstate, an international – participate in the event.

So, what’s in there for the visitors? Well, you can enjoy the colourful hot air balloons flying across the valleys and rolling hills at dawn and in the afternoon. Besides, there will be lots of public festivities with free access.

The opening day will host the Northam Balloon Fiesta in the afternoon and Balloon Glow at night at the Henry Street Oval. Throughout the event, the visitors will also have free entry to carnival rides, markets, balloon discovery zone, game zone, live stage show, and the closing firework ceremony.
