A loud thump alerted pilots of Air Canada to trouble, before preparing for an emergency landing due to a crack in one of the airplane’s window.
As passengers flew over Newfoundland, Canada, roughly around 4 hours into its flight pattern, pilots noticed a crack in one of its windows.
The Air Canada flight which was bound for London, coming from Toronto, was immediately redirected to Halifax, Canada.
Passengers were said to be “shaken up,” though arrived on the tarmac safely and without harm. Air Canada is currently attempting to relocate and place hundreds of displaced passengers on other flights.
