Jetstar betters its book now and pay later service

Jetstar made the customers happy last month by launching an option for paying later for a booked flight. The good news is the service is going to get even better!

Jetstar is a low-cost airline based in Melbourne, Australia. Last month, it made a partnership with Afterpay, an online payment platform, for booking now and paying later for the domestic flights.

At that time, the passengers had to reserve the tickets for domestic flights or any products eight weeks before the flying date. The payments could be made afterwards in small, regular instalments.

To the convenience of the customers, Jetstar has slashed the time period for the advance booking by half. Now, you can book just four weeks before the date of the flight and pay later. The update has been enacted today.

A spokesman for Jetstar said that Afterpay had become highly popular after the launching of the service. In fact, they had received thousands of bookings in the first month! They now decided to improve the service targeting the Christmas and other holidays ahead.

The airline also looking forward to extending the facility for international flights too. The spokesman said that many of their customers asked them to launch Afterpay for international flights and they might comply with the demands in near future.

Jetstar was the first Australian airline to offer such a unique service. Jayne Hrdlicka, the Chief Executive of Jetstar Group, said that such an option gave people the opportunity to lock in today’s low fares and sale prices and pay later.

You can use Afterpay for any transaction between $200 and $1000 for a fee of only $10.
