Mantra Groups has signed a deal with the Saraceno Group to operate a hotel at the latter’s mixed-used development in Clayton, Victoria.
Located 20km from the CBD and the south-east side of Melbourne, the development poses as one of the most rapidly expanding employment corridors in that area. Worth of $1 billion, it is the largest establishment in the city. It will be a self-sufficient facility where you will find everything – from various types of accommodations, educational institution, medical precincts, entertainment, and commercial and retail facilities.

Mantra Group will operate a facility comprised of full-service hotel and apartments in the development. The name of the 10-storey hotel will be Mantra M-City, and its work is due for completion in 2020. It will have 250 hotel rooms, separate facilities for business meetings and large conference, restaurants, bar, and onsite car parking. The company will also operate 180 additional apartments and serviced studios adjacent to the hotel compound.
Bob East, the chief executive officer or Mantra Group, expressed his thrill over the partnership. He saw it as a big opportunity to make a name for the brand into that newly developed dynamic market. He also thought that the development would highly contribute to the urbanisation of a suburban area like Clayton.

Nick Saraceno, the Director of Saraceno Group, was also happy to continue their long relationship with the Mantra Group. He also said it was his long-time dream to build such a development.
Clayton is a prominent tech hum in Australia. It also has the major campuses of the largest university in the country, Monash University. There is also no shortage of shopping malls and restaurants.
