Canberra is going to turn into an activity hub during this Enlighten Festival. Currently, in its eighth year, the festival both free and ticketed events across the capital city.
Presented by Singapore Airlines, the festival to go on from March 2 to 8. Most of the major events are free that will take place in various major attractions and the Parliamentary Triangle. This year, two new precincts have been added to the list – the Australian National University (ANU) and the Canberra City Precinct (CBD).
During these days, the visitors are going to enjoy the transformed look of some of the iconic buildings in the city including the Parliamentary Triangle, the National Gallery of Australia, Australian Parliament House, and the National Science and Technology Centre. Talented Australian artists instill life into the brick-and-mortar structures with live music, art installations, and mind-blowing performances.
The Enlighten Festival 2018 is bigger and better as visitors have more scopes to explore, eat, and see. They will get to enjoy the popular events and a mix of new types of entertainment in new places.
