With the recent opening of the Swissôtel Goa, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts will add one more feather to their already decorated hat, a delightful new gem in their global portfolio of hotels. Swissôtel Goa opens in a place called Calangute just 16 kms from the capital Panaji and 1 hour drive from the Goa international airport. Eight three storey buildings house 135 spacious guestrooms & suites set in a tropical garden setting featuring Lilly ponds and a pool area at the courtyard. The main night-life attractions and the famous dining destinations of North Goa are but a stone throw distance from the hotel.
Rooms come in different sizes ranging from 31 meters to 72 meters and obviously depend on the category that you select. They are decorated with styling which evokes modern tastes. Other attractions of the hotel includes a night & day dining restaurant, fitness centre, pool bar, café, pools for adults and children, a club for children, plus arrangements for conferences and banquets. An exclusive beach club on the Calangute beach for guests rounds off the offerings.
The hotel is designed by Malaysian architects Chong Chee Ching and Greg Dall incorporates traditional Indian art by Indian artist Krishna Mehta. Rich amount of the artist’s works accentuate the architectural design throughout the resort and the lobby in particular.
