The Stamford Plaza Melbourne, a 5-star hotel located in Melbourne’s Central Business District, launches 26 new superior rooms as a part of a $4.4 million project that started in April this year. The new rooms have been added to the hotel’s East tower, extending its inventory to a total of 308 rooms and suites.

Stamford Plaza Melbourne’s General Manager, Adam Hamilton, said that the new rooms would give the corporate and leisure travellers to the city more options for first-class accommodation. This year, Melbourne has been voted the most liveable city for the sixth successive year. Mr Hamilton thought that the title along with the upcoming Spring Racing Carnival would draw a huge number of visitors to Victoria’s coastal capital, and the hotel is ready to welcome those guests with their brand new superior rooms.

The new rooms are spacious and offer many amenities including Queen Size beds, large wardrobes, work desks, 48-inch TV, neat and chic bathrooms with a walk-in shower, and facilities for making tea and coffee. They also feature a mini bar in case if you want to unwind a bit at night.
