Local Australian Resorts Getting a Bum Rap

Ski Resort

When Aussies want a snow vacation, often times they’ll head to the international resorts.  International resorts are known to offer an all-in-one experience, servicing: an international flight, ski lifts/skiing, spa, hotel and dining needs.

Well, according to Emily Warbrick, Snowscene Manager, don’t count out the local scene!  Warbrick points out that Australian resorts offer amazing deals on services and products that would rival any international resort chain.

From packages which cover your meals, to lift ticket specials, local Australian resorts are the better deal, according to Warbrick:

“The Australian resorts offer many other activities other than just snow sports – activities such as tobogganing, snow shoeing, helicopter tours, ice skating, snow tubing, snow biking, dog sledding, groomer tours, cat skiing, scenic chairlift rides and much more,” she said.

“Often travellers do not realise just how much the resorts have to offer – why travel overseas when you can stay in Australia and experience an on snow holiday – there’s nothing like staying on snow.”

Warbrick, whose company has been in business for over 26 years, adds that new deals include free nights, discounted tickets that have been booked in advance, and the deal shaker – children stay and eat for free – how cool is that!
