AccorHotels acquires leading concierge company John Paul


AccorHotels has finalised the acquisition of leading concierge services John Paul. The French multinational hotel group has given the announcement on Friday, November 18.

According to the terms of the acquisition worth of US$150 million, Davis Amsellem, the founder of the world-famous French domestic services, will still serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer and retain a 20% stake in the company.

Established in 2007 in Paris, John Paul soon became a familiar name in the concierge service market. After being merged with American company LesConcierges in 2015, it created the world’s leading company in first-rate customer and employee loyalty services. The company has more than 1,000 employees across the world all of who have come from the most reputed palaces. All of the John Paul’s employees serve their customers 24/7 and cater to their every single request.

John Paul has already stamped a strong presence in the travel industry. Its new partnership will help it to cement that position by providing their unrivalled services in AccorHotels’ more than 4,000 hotels and 3,000 restaurants around the world.

AccorHotels will also be equally beneficial by using John Paul and its 50,000-partner worldwide network to take the customer services in all of its hotels and restaurants to the next level.
