Peppers Docklands is the first five-star hotel in the Docklands district. The company chose the hotel location opposite Etihad Stadium and Southern Cross Station, targeting the sporting and concerts market. Well, they are successful in their mission as the hotel was completely booked before the opening because of tennis fans in town for the Australian Open.

In fact, Peppers has not only chosen the location wisely but also given it a local flavour by integrating local art, culture, and lifestyle to the decorations of the hotel. Its exterior features an artwork by RONE, the prominent local artist, and the interiors feature the stencilled images of classic Aussie cars, cyclists, and trams, which strongly represent the Melbourne culture. The images of jumbo jet have also been incorporated into the interior decoration, an effort of the hotel company to impose the theme of travel.
The contemporary style hotel has 87 rooms, a gym, a bar, a pool, 24-hour reception and concierge, and an onsite restaurant. In addition, guests can also enjoy the advantage of an eatery enclave and a retail store at the ground level.
