AccorHotels announces the opening of its first ever Novotel in Thailand’s Samui island.

Travellers who like to be away from the hullaballoo of crowds are going to like Novotel Samui Resort Chaweng Beach Kandaburi very much because it sits on a solitary stretch of Chaweng Beach. However, others will not be deprived of the fun too as the most popular nightlife and shopping spots of the island are not far from it.

AccorHotels Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia’s Chief Operating Officer, Patrick Basset, said that they are proud to open a Novotel in a place that has been rapidly growing as a great resort destination in the Gulf of Thailand.

Mr Basset said that the Novotel in Samui is another step to the fulfilment of their commitment to develop the tourism of Southern Thailand. AccorHotels plans to open five more hotels in Southern Thailand in 2016 alone.

The resort will appeal to travellers looking for the luxury of a four-star brand even in a tranquil beach. It has spacious rooms, modern amenities, a fitness centre, a relaxing spa, two pools, a beach bar, and three unique restaurants – Beach Restaurant, Palm Court Restaurant, and Tom Yam Thai Restaurant that serves authentic Thai cuisine.
